PAT Testing Services - Edinburgh & Lothians

Many insurance companies now demand businesses have a P.A.T. testing policy in place and others often provide a more favourable insurance premium if there is one in force.

Com.PAT.able will examine and test all your portable appliances and issue them with personalised appliance labels containing unique numbers for traceability with the clients business name, date of test & date next test is due. We will also supply a report containing details of the test results, a summary sheet showing the total number of tests, a pie chart of faults found & fault ratio and this test report can be supplied as a hard copy, on CD ROM or e-mailed directly to the client.

The testing process is carried out using the latest top of the range "Seaward Supernova" PAT testing equipment and any minor repairs detected during this process will be included in the price. As a professional company we also operate a strict Health and Safety policy.

Com.PAT.able cover Edinburgh the Lothians and Borders regions but we will consider enquiries from outwith these areas


We carry out annual inspections and testing of client's electrical equipment. We often find up to 1 in 10 failed items in the first year, which are either removed or rectified at time of testing.

Although we try to operate normal office hours we realise this might not be ideal for every client so if need be out of office hours can be negotiated.
